For the Swiss dance institution Residenzzentrum tanz+, I organized an exclusive showcase and artist talk with Jochen Heckmann at the Aargauer Kunsthaus.

Jochen Heckmann shared insights into his research following a two-week residency at Residenzzentrum tanz+. Initial dance ideas were presented in a collage-like format. His solo explored questions around aging and how he navigates these changes as a dancer. The presentation was followed by an audience discussion featuring Caroline Finn, Judith Kuckart, Angelika Ächter, and Corneliu Ganea.

From 1999 to 2007, Jochen Heckmann served as Ballet Director and Chief Choreographer of the Ballett-Theater Augsburg in Germany. Since 2007, he has worked as a freelance artist and has been the Artistic Director of the Höhere Fachschule für zeitgenössischen und urbanen Bühnentanz in Zurich since 2013.
