Showcases: Filipe Portugal

For the Swiss dance institution Residenzzentrum tanz+, I organized a series of showcases with choreographer Filipe Portugal at the Aargauer Kunsthaus and the Kurtheater Baden.

In the most recent production of Tanz & Kunst Königsfelden, an international contemporary dance ensemble of ten dancers presented the world premiere of a new work by choreographer Filipe Portugal, formerly a principal dancer with the Zurich Ballet.

For the first time, the audience had the opportunity to follow the entire rehearsal process leading up to the premiere. At both the Aargauer Kunsthaus and the Kurtheater Baden, showcases offered exclusive insights into the development of the interdisciplinary production. A short showcase followed by a discussion with the audience took place on four dates.
